The studio is co-run by artists and young studio members, hosting a programme of art and social action, developed with, for and by children & young people in Govanhill and across Scotland. The main level of the home contains an open kitchen, dining area, living room with wood burning fireplace, two bedrooms with queen-sized beds, and a shared bath with shower/tub. About Rumpus Room Rumpus Room is an artist-led initiative working in collaboration with children and young people on art and social action projects. On the lower level you will find a rumpus room with a pool table, wood stove, piano, pull out queen sleeper sofa, and a third bedroom with two twin beds. There is also a sliding glass door leading to a covered exterior deck for viewing the boats and islands beyond. In addition, there is a convenient bathroom on the lower level that offers a shower. Rumpus Room is a collaborative practice between artists and producers Catrin Jeans, Nadia Rossi and Rachel Walker that focuses on meaningful engagement with children and young people, allowing activity-driven research and development to shape their shared practice.
